This week our members enjoyed a cooking session with Sue from Rehabilitation for Independence.
On the menu were tasty pancakes! This session supported people with brain injuries by teaching independence skills, fine motor skills and concentration.
The session couldn’t have taken place without the support of Sue and Rehabilitation for Independence, who supplied the materials the time and their skilled services allowing our members to get the chance to either learn new skills or brush up on existing ones.
The cooking sessions don’t end there! they were such a success Sue and the team will return in the coming months to cook with members again – next time veg soup!
