Marc Bennett owner and Mortgage Adviser at Whitewood Mortgages, Lytham St Annes has chosen Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde, to be the Whitewood Mortgages Charity of the year.
Marc said: “Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde are an incredible local charity who provide services to those who have sustained brain injuries and to those who work so hard to support them, including their families and carers.
I wanted to support a charity that is actively focused in helping people/families in our local community. Headway Blackpool Wyre & Fylde is a charity close to my heart after I sustained a severe head injury in a road traffic accident when I was only 11 years old. I also have family, friends and associates over the years that have suffered from head injuries and trauma, with sadly some of them passing way before their time.”
