Last Saturday we once again joined forces with the brilliant Aaron and his team at The Newton Arms pub to host a Family Fun Day.
Aaron and his team are big supporters of Headway Blackpool Wyre and Fylde, they held a fireworks event last November and also another Family Fun Day at their previous premises last May.
The day was a huge success with £903 raised thanks to the super generous folk that attended the event.
Visitors enjoyed various stalls and entertainment including; face painting, bouncy castles, raffles, tombola, messy art, a book stall as well as loving the chance to get Sam from Headway Blackpool and Aaron from The Newton Arms soaked in the stocks!
The Fun Day was officially opened by the incredible Rosie & Adam who recently performed on Britain’s Got Talent, also performing were QuarterLight who rocked the place! the beautiful voices of the Revoe-lution Community Choir and the wonderfully talented The Dance Place Blackpool.
The much-needed funds raised at the event will go to support those with acquired brain injuries, their carers and families.
We have to say a huge thank-you to everyone involved in the day especially Aaron and his fab team whose support is wonderful, and who make a huge difference to their local community.
